Pre-Kindy Café
Wednesday this week concluded our Pre-Kindy Café series for this year and we were absolutely delighted with the turn out! During these events we have stalls set up by Mundijong Library, the uniform shop, School Chaplain, YMCA and more. It’s a great way for new students to introduce themselves, to not only our teachers, but to some of our community members too.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff, community members and families who helped make the event so brilliant. Congrulations to Georgia who won a minion library bag. Georgia went into the draw to win this prize because she visited all the stalls and filled her passport with stamps. Well done, Georgia!
Remembrance Day
Next Wednesday is Remembrance Day. WGPS will be holding a small service on site for staff and students only. This service will be hosted by our Student Council.
We will also have some representatives laying a wreath at the Serpentine-Jarrahdale RSL Remembrance Day Service at ANZAC Park. If you would like to attend a Remembrance Day service, you are welcome to join local residents at ANZAC Park for a 10.50am start.
As in previous years, if you’d like to contribute to the wreaths, please bring some flowers on either Tuesday or Wednesday morning before the service.
Murdoch Prac Students
We said farewell to our Prac Students from Murdoch University today. Each made a really positive contribution to the classes they were in and our students certainly enjoyed their visit. Thank you for the beautiful morning tea to say thanks and goodbye. We wish each of you good luck and hope to see you in the future.
