Faction Carnival- Jumps and 400m Sprint

Our Faction Carnival kicked off this year with the Jumps and 400m Sprints on Tuesday. All competitors upheld the values of Woodland Grove and gave it their best effort. Thank you to Mr Higgs and Mr Bird for all the hard work they put into making sure this event ran smoothly. Pictured below are our Year 4 girls competing in the 400m race.

Kindy Carnival

The Kindy Carnival was a great success this year with all Kindy kids getting involved in the events! Thank you to Mr Higgs and Mr Bird for their tremendous effort in coordinating and organising the Kindy Carnival. We had a huge turnout of families and it was lovely to be a part of the happy and excited atmosphere. Pictured below are some of the events, along with the Edwards Family.

Multicultural Day- Family Flags Banner

A big thank you to all the lovely ladies who helped each day to cut and fold our Family Flags in preparation for Multicultural Day next term. Sadia Saif, a WGPS parent, organised and put together the group of helpers that ended up making 580 family flags in total. The helps included parents Minakshi, Zobia, Zara, Shamir, Mariam, Sidra and students Aisha and Arisha.

Photo Day 2019

This is a reminder to families who have not yet ordered photos for their child and would still like to. Kapture allow late orders of student photos up to 10 days after the first photo day (18th September).

Any late orders placed more than 10 days after photo day will incur a late fee of $15.

Lost Property

Items have been sorted out and labelled items have been returned to their classes today. Non uniform items remain in lost property. Please check as all unnamed lost property will be donated to the Good Samaritan store at the end of term.

Hats

Our UV metre has been consistently 3 and above so it is important that children wear a broad brimmed hat or remain in the shade.

Enjoy your well-deserved weekend. Make sure you rest and recharge for the last week of term!
