Book Week
What a fantastic day we had on Monday where our students dressed up as their favourite character from a book. We were very pleased to see many students bring the book representing their chosen character. Here at Woodland Grove we believe reading is the most important life skill our children can learn. Not only is reading essential for the workplace a person is never bored if they have a good book to read. This is why when your children arrive at school in the morning they are encouraged to sit down and read for the first 15 minutes of school. Below is a few snapshots from the dress up day. A big thank you to Julie Bosma our Librarian for all the fantastic work she does in encouraging and getting our students excited about the value of reading.
Choir
Ms Sudhakaran and her choir have been working tirelessly to get ready for their concert at the Perth Concert Hall in a fortnight. We are excited to see how our children go and applaud Ms Sudhakaran in all her efforts in preparing our students.
Photo Day
A reminder to parents that photo day is next week. Please keep hold of the slips until photo day as the office will not be taking any slips or money for the photos. They are to be given to Kapture on the day of our photos.

Items have been sorted out and labelled items have been returned to their classes today. Non uniform items remain in lost property. Please check as all unnamed lost property will be donated to the Good Samaritan store at the end of term.
Hats
Our UV metre has been consistently 3 and above so it is important that children wear a broad brimmed hat or remain in the shade.
