Crazy Hair Day
Happy Crazy Hair Day to all our Woodland Grove children. We saw some fantastic hair filled with lots of colour, glitter and even spiders! Thank you to the P&C for organising this. All gold coin donations will be collected and given to the P&C for future plans for Woodland Grove Primary School. Pictured below are our Kindy and Pre-Primary children and Faith and Stephanie with their best crazy hair.
Open Night
100 000 million thank yous for a magnificent Open Night and week that culminated in Crazy Hair Day today. A stand out for our school is the extra effort and care our staff put into our families and children. Rest assured it is greatly appreciated. The vibe at Open Night was amazing. Lots of happy children proudly showing off their work to their families. Everybody I spoke to said they loved Open Night and that our school is the best ever. Well done.
A very special thank you to all our Education Assistants who stayed back to help out.
Nicho’s Bear
Here is Nicho’s missing bear named Charlie. If you have found Charlie let the school know as he is very special for Nicho and his family.
Book Week
Book Week commences next week with the theme being “Reading is My Super Power”. Students are encouraged to dress up on Monday the 9thof September as their favourite character and bring that book along with them. There will be a parade for all our children at The Arena at 8.30am. Here are some highlights from last year’s book week.
Photo Day
A reminder to parents to expect photo day slips to be coming home. Please keep hold of them until photo day as the office will not be taking any slips or money for the photos. They are to be given to Kapture on the day of our photos.
Enjoy your well-deserved weekend. Make sure you rest and recuperate.
