Book Reading

This week we had the lovely Miss Reynolds read a book for our WGPS students. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Book Week Dress Up – Change of Date

We have changed our annual Book Week to Friday 4th September so that it does not clash with our Athletics Carnival. Our parade will still be at 8.30am and there will be plenty of space for our community to spread out across the school to enjoy the book character dress ups.

This year’s Book Week theme is Curious Creatures, Wild Minds, think the Gruffalo, Thelma the unicorn and the Lorax! We can’t wait to see the outfits and books to go with them. If you’d like to read more about Book Week head to the link below.

Here are some highlights from last year’s Book Week.

Car Park Safety & The West Aussie Wave

We continue to ask for your help in keeping our students safe as you drive around our surrounding suburban streets and through our small car parks. We ask that you use kindness and take care when driving. For the safety of our students, all cars are to pull into a car bay before children depart or enter a vehicle. We appreciate that this may take up some extra time in your day and thank you in advance for doing so.

When walking through our car parks, we ask that you use our designated footpaths and when riding your bike or scooter please wear a helmet at all times.

Let’s model The West Aussie Wave and continue to create a safe and kind pick up and drop-down zone for all WGPS students and families!

Thank you for your ongoing support!

Pupil Free Day

Don’t forget about our Pupil Free Day on Friday the 21st of August. This is the last Pupil Free Day of the term!
