Dear Families,

Wow a lot is changing in a short amount of time.

We are actively supporting families to keep children at home where possible. It is impossible for us to maintain social distancing with children at school. Thank you for your support in helping us with this. We understand that families who work in essential services such as teaching and the medical sector need to have children at school.

The good news is that our teachers have worked really hard to provide “Learning at Home” packs for each year level. These packs will be uploaded onto our website by Monday 30th March. http://woodlandgroveps.wa.edu.au/programs/at-home-learning/overview/

We will also have the “Learning at Home” packs and other essential student resources ready to be picked up on Monday 30th March. Packs and resources will be placed in individual student trays outside classrooms. In order to manage social distancing, packs will be available for pickup at the following times and in surname order. Please note you will need a bag to collect resources as trays are not to go home:

  • Surnames starting with A to E – 10.15am to 11.15am
  • Surnames starting with F to L – 11.30am to 12.30pm
  • Surnames starting with M to R – 12.45pm to 1.45pm
  • Surnames starting with S to Z – 2.00pm 3.00pm

The main gates will be open to allow easy access to our school. When you visit to collect materials please send only one adult family member and respect our social distancing measures.

I understand that this is a difficult time for us all. Thank you for your kindness, support and consideration. We have the most wonderful community.

Lastly, the following quote from Brene Brown, our Growth Mindset guru says it all.
