From the Principal’s Desk

Week 4

This week we have enjoyed playing in the puddles at school. Our students are very lucky because they can wear gum boots to school to play outside when the rain has stopped. Remember your rain coat and gum boots on wet and rainy days.

We have some very exciting news!

We have been approved for a Crosswalkto go on Kokoda Boulevard. You can see the paint work has started already. This will be a much safer way for our students to cross the road to get to school.

Please remember to:

  • Use the footpath
  • Wear a Helmet
  • Park your car in a designated parking bay

I can’t wait to see you all riding to school safely on the 19th of March for National Ride 2 School Day.
Kiss and Collect has been working very well and even in the Wet Weather, our students are being safely buckled in and cars are moving smoothly.
Thank you to our amazing staff for all their hard work to make the roads around our school safer for our students.

Our students have begun Hip Hop lessons as part of the Physical Education Curriculum. The skills learned in dancing are able to be applied in many other sports. Balance and coordination are key movement skills that are the focus of this year’s program. Please ensure you have paid at the front office for this excellent opportunity.
