Volunteer & Friends of the Library Morning Tea

On Wednesday we thanked our volunteers and Friends of the Library for all the work they have done for WGPS this past year. It was fantastic to see so many people join us down at the Arena for morning tea followed by a school tour. Thank you to everyone who helped with the morning tea, particularly to our canteen and staff members for suppling home baked goods, chocolates and savoury snacks. A big thank you to our volunteers and Friends of the Library for everything you have done. Without you our school would not operate as smoothly.

Bella’s Birthday

It was our school dog’s 1stBirthday on Thursday. Bella celebrated in style by receiving a dog friendly cake! Bella is our school dog for many reasons. In particular Bella helps to teach our students how to show compassion and humility to animals. Bella is also a wonderful calming influence for both children and adults alike.

Oval Update

Our oval is continuing to improve with the grass getting greener each week. The oval is expected to be ready for use early in 2020.

On the last day of term we will be saying goodbye to the school year by celebrating the year that has been with our Celebration of Learning Day sponsored by our P&C. The complete flyer was sent home with students.
