Thank You
Thank you for your best wishes and thoughts. I met my beautiful grandson for the first time on Tuesday. He flew in to Perth Airport with my daughter all the way from Newcastle. He is a delight. A very happy 5 month old named Oliver.
Lots of tears at the airport. Happy times.
Year 6 Leavers
On Wednesday we celebrated our wonderful 2020 Year 6 Leavers. The Year 6’s first enjoyed a morning tea with their teachers, parents and caregivers, where they received a photographic keepsake. They heard from past School Captain, Abbey Fulker. Abbey shared her experiences so far at high school and gave tips on how the Year 6’s might overcome any nerves they may feel.
We also heard from Byford Secondary College Prinicpal, Paul Jones, who awared Year 6 student Cody a scholarship, and from Armadale Senior High School Deputy Principal, Marcus Gianatti, who awarded Year 6 student Caden a scholarship. Congratulations to both students!
Christmas Carols
Our Christmas Carol event is just around the corner! The wonderful ladies Brooke and Janelle, have been working hared to put together a special event that brings together our community. There will be carol singing, a sausage sizzle, churros and more! We invite all our WGPS community and families to join us with a picnic blanket, to sit back and enjoy the afternoon.
