Good afternoon to the Woodland Grove family,

Canteen

We are seeking expressions of interest to operate our school canteen providing morning tea and lunch, and possibly breakfast for our student and staff population.

We currently have a student population of almost 750 students. Our student population is expected to drop to about 670 next year and be back up to 750 by 2022.

The operator/s will comply with the Department of Education’s Healthy Food and Drink policy and procedures, including:

  • Promote healthy eating to the school community
  • Complete Traffic Light training
  • Complete safe food handler training (or equivalent)
  • Plan a menu based on the traffic light system.

If you are interested in working in a friendly student centred environment and utilise a low waste packaging/recycling approach, please call in and collect our Canteen Expression of Interest package.

Expressions of Interest should be addressed to Ashley Mottershead, Principal by 4pm Monday 26 August. Your Expression of Interest should be in writing and sent through by email, woodland.grove@education.wa.edu.au

A panel consisting of P&C representatives and the school Principal will consider applications and set up a time to meet with suitable applicants.

Previous experience in operating a school canteen will be considered advantageous but not essential.
