It is my intention to place a post on Facebook every Friday and in the post section of this website.
The best way to contact us is through our website contact link as we will not be monitoring Facebook on a daily basis.
We will be using this post section and our Facebook page to communicate with our families rather than a paper newsletter. If you would prefer a paper copy of our weekly blog please let the front office staff know. We will also be setting up an App for families to access called Connect.
A BIG thank you to all our families. We have had a great start to the year with lots of happy and excited children. We pulled together a successful official school opening with the Minister for Education and the Director General of Education in attendance. The cake cutting ceremony was very cute and our students looked fantastic in their brand new uniforms. Thank you Eden, Dane, Lucy and Cooper.
Our Year 6 students showed some great leadership by directing all our special visitors to the Covered Assembly Block. The way they held themselves and the way they spoke showed maturity beyond their years.
A special thank you to the Firminger family who had Channel 10 at their house on Wednesday morning filming Charlotte and Mackenzie getting ready for school and continuing to film them at school. Following is the link to the news story.

Our children are having a lot of fun on the playground equipment. Global Motion is proving to be a real crowd pleaser with children wanting to stay on it after school. We have had three trampolines erected and the larger playground at the back of the school is getting plenty of attention. Children are also enjoying splashing in the mud in our reed bed. This is part of our nature based approach to play which is mirrored in our Kindy/Pre Primary playground. At the moment we have our K/PP playground gates shut whilst we get children settled. We intend to open the gates to allow flow between the play areas once children have settled in to school routines.
