Wow what a way to celebrate a term of learning. Our magnificent Easter Hat Parade did not disappoint. It is one of my favourite events at Woodland Grove. As always our community were very creative. The Easter Hats were many and varied. It was wonderful to see our children proudly parading their hats. Thank you to all who were able to join in our celebration.

Our marvellous P&C had 29 raffle prizes thanks to your generous donations. Congratulations to all who had their tickets drawn.

Wishing our community a safe, happy and restful break. I look forward to seeing you all Monday 19th April for the start of Term 2. Don’t forget we have a School Development Day (pupil free) on Tuesday 27th April, straight after ANZAC Day. Our staff will be spending the day working with Dr Paul Swan to build their knowledge of Mathematics instruction.

A reminder that our Pupil Free Day scheduled for the 8th June has been cancelled. A Term 2 calendar has been sent out to all families today with children. Please check bags for your copy of our Term 2 Calendar.
Remember to check in with our website calendar regularly to stay up to date with what’s happening in the school.
Term 2 events include: ANZAC Assembly on Friday 23rd April at 11am, our annual Mothers Day Raffle drawn on 7th May and Simultaneous Storytime to name a few.
While we try our best to limit changes to our scheduled events, our website calendar is our source of truth and we encourage our families and community to use this calendar.
