Swimming Lessons

Today is the last swimming lesson for the year. We’ve had some cold and windy days over the last few weeks but the resilience of our children attending lessons has been fantastic! Well done to them all. A big thank you to parents, children and staff for your patience and support during swimming.

National Science Week

Next week marks National Science Week. Mr Liackman has been busy setting up the Makerspace area for classes to visit, complete activities and carry out experiments. From what I have seen so far, it promises to be an exciting space!

Reading

At Woodland Grove we are passionate about reading! Mrs Bosma has created a ‘Wizard of Oz’ display around one of our School Values, Courage … “even Lion tries new things and faces challenges without fear!” Mrs Knudsen read ‘Ravi’s Roar’, a book about diversity and inspiring children to dare to be different by having the courage to stand out.

Calendar

Don’t forget to check in with our website calendar regularly to stay up to date with what’s happening in the school.

While we try our best to limit changes to our scheduled events, our website calendar is our source of truth and we encourage our families and community to use this calendar.
