PIRATE DAY

Ahoy me hearties,

Remember all our posts are placed here on the website, if you want to catch up on what is going on. Let us know if you would like a hard copy of our regular communication.

What a great day we had today as we dressed up as pirates and raised money for our library. Between Book Fair and Pirate Day we have rose over $4000 for library resources and had lots of fun. A BIG thank you to our library team lead by Mrs BOSMA. We have had a lot of helpers in with our “Friends of the Library” group. If you would like to join “Friends of the Library” please let Kate at the front office know.

Book Fair will finish at lunch time on Wednesday. Your support for our fair has been amazing.

Celebrations at school help to build a positive school culture and are sometimes some of our most powerful memories of school. As we are a new school we are in a unique position to embed celebrations that are
important to us and reflect our unique community. P&C have been talking about how they can be as inclusive as possible. If you have any ideas do not hesitate to let us know

We are thinking about our end of year book awards. We would like to hold a twilight ceremony that is also a celebration of our school. If you have any ideas about how we can encourage our school community to come together at the end of the year please let us know.

Uniforms

Our school dress sample has been made and should be ready for next summer. It looks particularly smart and will provide our students with an alternative in the warmer months. Cost will be approximately $56 to $58.

Enjoy your weekend.

See you next week
