Meet the school Chaplain
Coline works three days a week—Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday—and has already found her place within our Woodland Grove community. Although she has been working as a chaplain for the past three years, Coline continues to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from her more than 18 years working within the Department of Education. This background has given her a strong understanding of the needs of students, staff and families, and she is passionate about supporting young people in a school environment. Her experience in both education and chaplaincy enables her to connect with students in a caring and meaningful way while promoting wellbeing, resilience and a strong sense of community within the school.
As a chaplain, Coline aims to be a positive, approachable presence in the school. She values listening without judgement, building trusting relationships with students, and creating a safe and supportive space where staff, families and young people feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and concerns. Good chaplaincy involves compassion, respect, confidentiality and encouragement. Coline is committed to helping staff, families and students feel seen, heard and valued within the school community.
Any families that wish to access the chaplaincy services for their child, needs to discuss this first with the classroom teacher.
