Year 5 – Byford Secondary College Experience Day
DETAILS:
- Students need to be dropped by parents at the Mead Street Entrance at 9am.
- Students will be greeted by both teachers and students from Byford Secondary College.
- 90 minute Math problem-solving activities lead by ASPIRE Students under the direction of Mathematics Department Staff.
- 90 minute writing activity lead by the English Department, entitled “Novel in an Hour” an inspiring and engaging introduction to chapter books and literature.
- College tour and games with Student Services Staff and Student Council.
- Students to be collected by parents at 2.45pm at Mead Street exit.
Students will be required to wear their full WGPS Uniform so they are easily identified. Our Year 5 WGPS staff will also attend. Please notify WGPS if your child is unable to attend this day. The school will arrange an option for Year 5 students who come to WGPS instead on this day.
