Overview

Welcome to Learning at Home with Woodland Grove Primary School. This page has been created to support families and provide instructional learning activities for all students who are not at school as a result of COVID-19. On this page you will find information on how to support your child’s learning at home, recommended activities to enhance learning and links to websites to make learning more interactive.

Firstly, try not to stress. We are here to help you through this. We are in this together.

Our year level ‘Learning at Home’ packages are the place for you to start when supporting your child to learn at home. In the event of an outbreak of COVID-19, these packages will be made available at the beginning of each week online and as a printed copy at your child’s classroom. Should an extended lockdown occur, all packages are to be returned to your child’s classroom at the beginning of each week and the new packages collected. Your child’s teacher will upload a video on Seesaw every day and will check your child’s work as it is submitted on Seesaw or when the learning packages are returned to school.

If your child experiences any difficulty with their ‘Learning at Home’ package you may like to look at one from another year level. Alternatively, you can contact your child’s classroom teacher through our website here or by phoning during business hours on 08 9526 4000.

Learning at Home is exciting and can be challenging. Please do not hesitate to provide feedback on how it is going so we can adjust as needed. As needs arise, individual families maybe supported on a case by case basis. Please contact us through our website here if you require a different form of support.
