World Teachers Day

We celebrated World Teachers’ Day by wearing badges saying “Expecting the best, producing success”. Our staff enjoyed cake at recess and were spoilt by kind words from students. We are very proud of the educators at our school and feel grateful for everything they do for our students.

Thank you and happy World Teachers’ Day to all educators.

Spare Parts Play

OOur Woodland Grove kids are thoroughly enjoying the spare parts play we have set up on our verandah. Spare parts play involves children playing with moveable objects such as fabric, sticks, pipes and so on (natureplay.org.au). It is believed that by adding this to student play areas, it will increase their imagination and creative play (natureplay.org.au). Pictured are some students getting involved with the spare parts play. If you have any small objects such as fabric, keyboards, phones, pipes and so on, that you would like to donate please drop them at our front administration.
