MS Readathon

The MS Readathon initiative aims to encourage kids to read as much as they can, while raising money to support services such as MS Family Camps. Such camps provide an opportunity for kids who have a parent living with multiple sclerosis (MS) to spend quality time with their family, learn more about MS and bond with other kids sharing similar journeys.

Last week we announced the winners of the MS Readathon prizes! WGPS raised a massive $2,741. We had 39 students take part in fundraising and 123 books were read. Congratulations to ST4 for raising the most money, a total of $1,131.68, and to Izabella and Daisy for individually raising the most money. Izabella managed to raise $655.31, while Daisy raised $622.04. Amazing effort by both students and more broadly by the WGPS students and classes who participated in the initiative.
